Congratulations to Archie Goodburn who competed for Great Britain at the recent European Youth Olympic Festival in Hungary. This was a multi sport event, with Team GB taking part in six out of the ten sports available. Archie had the massive honour of being selected as the flag bearer for Team GB at the opening ceremony, a very special night for him!
Archie took part in five individual events, making finals in the 200m Freestyle and 200m Individual Medley and the semi final of the 100m Butterfly. The meet was of a very high quality with meet records set in almost every event.

Almost 50% of the East District team selected to compete at the 2017 ASA County Team Championships is made up of Warrender swimmers, well done to everyone selected. The event is one of the most exciting team events to take place in the UK each year, with 40 teams battling it out for top honours across two divisions! This year the County Team Champs will take place in Sheffield on the 7th October. Congratulations also to Kostas Kalitsis who has been selected as Head Coach for this event.
